We have seen a few jobs "fail" due to the backup file health check taking longer than the backup window will permit. All of the VM's backed up within the allotted time, but the health check can take a much longer time to process.
It would be nice to have a checkbox next to the spot where you enable the backup file health check that would permit the verification process to continue past the configured backup window.

Re: Feature Request: Permit health check to exceed job windo
Agree - there's no reason not to let it continue outside of the backup window. Thanks for your feedback!

Re: Feature Request: Permit health check to exceed job windo
Agree too. Also a request: It would be great to have a health check option spearated from the backup / backup copy jobs itself. It would give the option to spread the performance pressure on storage. At the moment there is, as far as i can tell, no option to separate a backup / backup copy run from merging files into a full backup (as part of that job) and to stop a health check, defined within that job, from running. As far as i know it is all or nothing. In case my storage is pretty busy i don't have the option to only run a backup copy of backed up data without doing a merge or health check.
