Guest processing from proxy

When I try to start an application aware backup without the B&R server having network to the source VM, the backup fails with "Failed to connect to administrative share..."
Is there a way to have application aware processing handled by the proxy and not the B&R server? I have backup sources in multiple subnets and don't want to create firewall rules from the B&R server to all the subnets.

No, this is not currently possible. However, if you are using VMware, guest processing can be handled without network connectivity to guest (using VIX API). Thanks!
