Guest System Windows Server 2022 - Error: Unable to perform guest file system indexing: Unknown Operating System guest

Hello together

For a customer I have upgraded some operating systems to Windows Server 2022. Since then Veeam reports an error:

Code: Select all

Processing <SERVER> Error: Unable to perform guest file system indexing: Unknown Operating System guest OS type is not supported for indexing.

In use is the latest version 11.0.0.837

Is there a solution for this?

The upgrade to a new version or hotfix is always free with an active subscription.

I just came across this thread as I'm ready to upgrade my customers to 2022 guests too. The post upthread says "just around the corner"; is there a date for that yet?
