can you answer to my question clearly ?
1-i have a physical server that my veeam backup server has been installed on that also rule of backup proxy assign to this server (veeam backup server) on the other hands this server connect directly to SAN which my vms on reside on and backups are settle on this SAN now in this mode will my backup traffic pass through from SAN ??
2-second scenario is i have a physical server that veeam backup server has been installed on that such as previous scenario rule of proxy has been asssign to this server and this server connect directly to SAN that vms reside on that but now in this scenario what do i have to do if want my backup traffic pass through from SAN and backups save on the other SAN or place

In both scenarios data is transferred from SAN to backup/proxy server using direct SAN (so LAN free) and then to backup repository, depending on how it is connected to the backup/proxy server (for example, over iSCSI, in case the backup LUN is presented directly to the backup/proxy server).
