how many disk transaction for backup
Hello everybody. If I wanted to put a repository on Azure (not a blob but a linux machine with a managed disk) can I estimate the amount of storage transactions? I read that they cost €0.0005 per 10000 transactions... is there a way to roughly estimate the amount of transactions based on the number of VMs and data to backup?

Re: how many disk transaction for backup
Hello,
I'm not sure how many people ever applied this formula, but I found the following values in one of the old sizing tools: for 2x256 KB data IO, there is a 1x 4 KB metadata IO.
No guarantee, that these values are solid. They are pretty old (and nobody asked for things like that since many years )
Best regards,
Hannes
