All VMs are tagged with an environment tag: production, dev, test, or staging. I need to get the backup storage usage per each of those environments. If the jobs were categorized by environment then it would be easy, but the VMs are all mixed together in the jobs. If it helps, we are using per-VM backup files.
For instance, we need to figure out how much space is being used by VMs tagged "production". I can grab all the VM objects from vSphere with that tag, but I haven't found a way to get the backup space used by those individual VMs. How would someone do this with powershell?

Re: How to get backup space used per VM
Actually I think I found an answer. Does anyone have another method besides this one?
