I've got two Veeam backup jobs, both are configured to run "Periodically every 4 Hours".
They both run at 12am,4am,8am,12pm,4pm,8pm every day.
How do I get one of them to run at: 2am,6am,10am,2pm,6pm,10pm instead?
I did spot the option to offset the "Start time within an hour = x min", with x between 1 and 59.
I would need to set this to 120 to achieve the outcome, but this isn't permitted.

Re: How to offset two periodic jobs?
Hello,
as far as I see, that is possible the following way:
- schedule the backup job to run periodically every 4h
- disallow the backup job to run at all times
- allow the backup job to run at the 2am,6am,10am,2pm,6pm,10pm for maybe an hour or whatever is realistic for the jobs to run.
In the end, it looks like this (the screenshot is with 1h and only one run per day, but the concept can be adopted)
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: How to offset two periodic jobs?
Thank you Hannes, that worked!
If the job takes just over an hour to run, my expectation is that having 1-hour wide start schedules will allow the job to run to completion.
I am not expecting the job to be terminated if it is still running during a denied period, because that is what the "terminate the job if it exceeds allowed backup window" option is for, no?

the job will be terminated as soon as it runs into the "denied window".
