Dear all
Hi
quotation from veeam document in DSA transport mode veeam support these type of backup , restore and replication :
The Direct SAN access transport mode can be used for all operations where the backup proxy is engaged:
Backup
Replication
VM copy
Quick migration
Entire VM restore
VM disk restore
Replica failback
now want to know is that means it could not support instant recovery ?

Re: Instant recovery in DSA transport mode
Hi Babak,
Instant Recovery doesn't really transmit any data -- the vpowerNFS datastore is mounted as a datastore straight to your environment and the VM is run live off of there, and the delta-disks are either hosted on the newly mounted datastore or on another datastore in your environment.
So which transport mode is available doesn't really enter into it.
