Hello,
Been reading over the manual and keep getting confused on the best way to retain jobs for long term.
Goal is to keep 4 Weekly Fulls, with 14 daily incremental on one repository, this one is easy. Where I'm struggling is, I would like to keep 12 Monthly and 2 Yearly on a separate repository. Both repositories are EMC DDs.
What would be my best option for taking every monthly\yearly backups to the secondary repository.
I've looked at the Backup Copy, but don't see the option to move time specific jobs.
Would I be better off creating individual jobs for this? Or am I missing something in the Backup Copy, GFS or scale out?
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Long Term Backups
What you likely want is Backup Copy and just enable GFS.
Veeam's model right now always has a "simple" chain and your archival points along-side it. So you can have the Backup Copy with the GFS monthly and yearlies you want, but you will also have the increments in between. You might consider the Periodic mode here with GFS if your goal is minimum on disk; I believe that should work more or less as expected if you just set the interval to be equal to your desired minimum.
