Folks,
If I am temporarily going to shut down a server, or restart a server, managing one or more repositories, is it recommended to put those repositories in Maintenance Mode first? Maybe I need to replace a memory DIMM, or maybe I need to restart due to Windows Update.
I am wondering about the backup copy jobs, which are continuous. Do they need to be disabled before I can put the repositories they use in Maintenance Mode? Or are the jobs simply put on hold until the repositories are back online?

Re: Maintenance Mode
Hi Per,
Correct, you have to disable all the copy jobs targeting a certain extent before putting it into the Maintenance Mode, otherwise jobs will fail with a warning: "Waiting for job [JobName] to finish".
Thanks
