Hi,
We are backing up around 30 servers in one backup job. If 29 servers work in the backup job and one fails how is it possible to backup the failed server in a separate job and have the data put into the correct vrb file instead of creating a separate folder and vrb file?
suppose its a bit like tape. if a job failed you could run a separate job and you knew the data was going to the same tape as the rest of the backup data.
Thanks
Phill

Re: multiple servers in a job but want to backup one to same
If you right click the job and choose the "Retry Job" option it will do that automatically as this option simply retries any failed VMs from the previous run.

Or you can just wait, as the job will retry itself according to its scheduling settings.
