Hello all,
If I schedule a multiple VM backup job it fails, but when I create a single VM backup job it completes successfully. Weird? Here is the error message I get:
0 of 0 files processed
Total VM size: 28.02 GB
Processed size: 0.00 KB
Avg. performance rate: 0 KB/s
Backup mode: service console agent
Start time: 5/29/2009 6:58:52 PM
End time: 5/29/2009 6:59:49 PM
Deleting the whole backup, because it was the first backup
Delete backup "vmname" machine was unsuccessful
Undir failed
Client error: VBK ERROR:Storage [Block offset refers to the storage directory area. Directory end position: [804956]. Block offset: [251711].] is corrupted.
Can someone please explain, or educate me where to begin to correct this issue? Thank you

Re: Multiple VM backup job fails
Well I take that back... Here are the results of a (1) VM backup job:

Backup mode: service console agent
Start time: 5/29/2009 7:07:34 PM
End time: 5/29/2009 7:19:44 PM
Completing current object backup process
TextToTar failed
Client error: VBK ERROR:Storage [Block offset refers to the storage directory area. Directory end position: [574853]. Block offset: [356702].] is corrupted.

Alfred;
It would be best if you could send us your logs from Help>Support Information to support(at)veeam.com. This will allow us to look deeper into the problem as these errors don't give as much as needed to fully diagnose.

Re: Multiple VM backup job fails
Due to the sensitivity of the environment I work at, I will have to remove alot of information from the log files. Is there any thing in particular I can extract or look for?

Alfred, it depends on what information you consider sensitive. Typically our customers remove IP addresses and hostnames, but there are also usernames, paths and other information.
