Nice to notice that *every* useful new function requires you to either pony up for the Enterprise or Enterprise Plus versions. So the long awaited tape backup feature is an Enterprise feature now? Really..?

Re: New features..
Actually, even the Standard edition does support copying files from Windows and Linux servers to tape; so just use File to Tape job and specify backup files folder to archive to tape. As to Enterprise editions, they only additionally provide VMs and restore points tracking on tapes. Thanks. So the long awaited tape backup feature is an Enterprise feature now? Really..?

Re: New features..
Standard Edition provides the same tape offload capabilities as what you are doing today with the help of 3rd party tape backup software (i.e. copying Veeam backup files to tape). Effectively, this means that with v7, you can keep doing the same, but in more integrated manner. Besides, you can throw that 3rd party software away, thus saving money on maintenance.
More generally speaking regarding your concern, over 70 new features (out of about 90 total) are included right in the v7 Standard Edition.
