Hi all,
I was just wondering if I had a offhost proxy for my vmware environment, is it's cpu utilised instead of the host when the snapshot is removed? The reason I ask is because it seems creating a snapshot doesn't bring down the box but during the delta commit it freezes up the machine. Also wondering if there was a way to limit the iops as well in case that is causing too high saturation for our iscsi based system?

Re: offhost proxy cpu
In fact, neither proxy nor any other Veeam B&R component does perform any snapshot processing. All we do is issue a snapshot creation VMware API call and all the rest is done by VMware. For possible reasons of the freezes, please review this existing topic.
