Hi All.
Has anyone tried this setting for their repo on storage spaces with larger columns configured. Will there be a performance increase? If not, what would dictate turning this on?

Re: per vm backup files on storage spaces
Hello,
per-VM files increase speed because of parallel streaming, That does not have anything to do with storage space. But it should also apply there. In general it helps most with better ("enterprise grade") hardware.
But I cannot imagine, that it fixes the issues you describe in this thread: veeam-backup-replication-f2/storage-spa ... 68494.html
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: per vm backup files on storage spaces
Just to let you know the block level copy jobs fixed this issue for us. After the initial copy job which is quite slow, additional copies are 300-500mb/s
