Hello,
We are using reversed incremental back-ups. It's a long time ago we have performed an full back-up for one of those jobs.
Because there is not enough storage available on our current back-up san, i have moved the back-up files from one specific job to another lun on another san, so there is enough space on the back-up san for the active full.
I thought that when we start a full active back-up, this back-up has no dependencies or relations with the "former" VBK or VBR...
But, the active full back-up fails with the following error message:
Error: The system cant find the file specified. Failed to rename file from XXXXXXXXX to XXXXXXXXX.
Anyone who can explain this to me?

Re: Perform Active Full Back-up
Martijn, how did you run the job after removing backup files? Note, that if you remove the VBK file before the job is started, normal incremental run will fail due to missing VBK file, unless you have the ForceCreateMissingVBK key set to 1. This is not the case if you run active full manually, using the corresponding command on the job's shortcut menu.
