Possibility to remove Oracle DB If from explorer?

Post by pmensink »

Valued boardmembers,

In our VEEAM configuration we are facing issues which hopefully can be solved easily.
We have changed our Oracle DBID, which triggered VEEAM to detect a new database.

VEEAM is also still looking for the old database, which of course is no longer there.
It keeps reporting;
Transaction logs from some databases were not backed up for the last # intervals

where # stands for a number increasing every backup.

Is there a way to remove a database from the VEEAM configuration so it stops looking for it?
I know it is possible for MSSQL, but I am unable to find it for Oracle.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Patrick, in Veeam B&R v9 Update 1 you can disable Oracle processing for the entire VM only (using the DisableOracleProcessing registry value). Exclusion of specific database by its name is not available in the current version. Thanks.
