Problem Virtual Lab

Post by guidoakd »

Hi everybody, let's see if someone can help me with this!

I'm trying to make a Sharepoint's Virtual Lab, using the production machines that are on different VLANS, but they can see each other.
Database Machine, VLAN 30
Others Sharepoint Machines, VLAN 20

The thing is the virtual lab finishes OK, but at the time of entering to the central administration, it fails because it can't establish a connection to the Database. If i make ping to the 10.0.3.X from the one which is on the 10.0.2.X, i don't receive anything. But if i do this on production, it works OK, because it's enabled on the switch, i suppose.

The question would be, is it possible to create a Virtual Lab with machines that are on different VLans?

Thanks!

You can enable: "Route network traffic between vNICs" at the Virtual Lab Network settings tab to allow the communication between the different networks within the Virtual Lab networks (only).
