Hello,
In different places i read that the VEEAM license depends on the number of processor sockets or processor cores. But in VEEAM FAQ, they give an example of with 2 ESX servers where both of them has 2 quadcore processors. Which means that there must be :
2 ESX-Servers * 2-Processors * 4-Cores = 16 sockets.
Am i right or not, please?
If not, can anyone explain that to me?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about VEEAM licensing
The number of cores per CPU doesn't matter since we charge for sockets only.
In your example, a 4 sockets license is required regardless of how many cores you have.
Feel free to reach out to our sales reps for any assistance with licensing.
Thanks!
