Hi,
Windows 10 Creators Update brings along ReFS support:
https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads ... 03.393177/
A partition needs to be previously formatted in NTFS before it can be formatted with ReFS, but other than that it looks "real". A repository created on this partition has the "align backup file data blocks" option greyed out, so VEEAM seems to like it, too.
Looks like an option to have a remote proxy/repository with ReFS without spending the money on Server 2016.
Has anybody tried this yet in a larger test environment?
Regards,
Andreas

Re: ReFS and Windows 10 Creators Update
Nice find, Andreas. They did say ReFS 3.1 will be coming to Windows 10, but I did not expect it would come this fast.
