Replcate DR server

Hi there,
We are in process to replace DR server, we have two productions servers and one DR server (VMWARE)
VEEAM is connected to VC and have two types of jobs, Replica's to DR and backup storage attached to DR.
What is the best approach to replace DR server and its attached storage without losing historical backup data and keeping Replica's with all recovery points?

Adding VMs to the backup/replication job through vCenter Server connection makes backup/replication job vMotion aware. So, assuming you’ve followed this scenario, the simplest way to preserve backup/replication data would be to add a new server to vCenter, migrate corresponding VMs to it, using vMotion functionality, and then discard previously used DR server.
