Hi,
I have a customer who is on VMware and utilizes Veeam to backup and replicate all critical workloads to DR site. They want to adapt AWS for replication and get rid of the existing physical DR.
How can they replicate VM's running on VMware Hypervisor to AWS.
They don't want to send backups/backup copies to AWS. They purely want replicas over there and all features of on-premises replication. Would appreciate any feedback if it is possible and how to achieve it.
Regards

Re: Replicate VM's to AWS
You can't create a replication Job in Veeam to replicate directly to a "AWS VM".
You can restore the VM to AWS, but not replicate.
It will work with this product from AWS:
https://www.vmware.com/products/vmc-on-aws.html
You will have your own VmWare environment in the AWS Cloud to use it with veeam:
