Is there any tips to do the replication from any legacy VMware to one new Simplivity cluster ?
In our tests it seems that when we use the Veeam Replication Job to migrate the VM from the other legacy VMware vSphere environment to the Simplivity cluster, the deduplication ratio is very low in the Simplivity Datastore if compared to use the VMware converter.
There is anything abou the use the VBR to replicate the VM to the Simplivity ?

Re: Replication Job to the Simplivity
There actually no difference between a VM issued from a legacy system or a Simplivity one. Have you check the disk type on the destination VM on the Simplivity? Thick provisionning is not the best disk type on hyperconverged system with inline dedup and compression enable...
Disk alignement is also crucial. Simplivity dedup is base on 8K blocks, if the VM disk and filesystem are not properly aligned, your Simplivity OVC would dedupe and process 2 8K chunks for every 4K chunk on the VM side!
