Replication Path

Post by slecocq »

Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to configure Veeam Backup not to have a destination path like the following one (in a replication or a copy vm job):
/vmfs/volumes/UUID-WHATEVER-IT-IS/VeeamBackup/VMNAME(VM-MOREF)

but a simple path like this one :
/vmfs/volumes/UUID-WHATEVER-IT-IS/VMNAME

Thanks for your help,

Regards,

Hello, unfortunately right now this is not possible. The current path with /VeeamBackup/ is hardcoded (we are looking to provide customization for this later). The (VM-MOREF) addition allows to avoid potential conflicts when you are replicating 2 differents VMs with the same name to the same target host. Not having this may result in Veeam Backup attempting to create 2 folders with the same name, and failing out due to that. Thanks!
