Replication vmdk

Post by Rohail2004 » Jan 06, 2011 3:28 am

I replicated a VM and I noticed I have two VMDK files in a datastore after the replication is completed at the target location.

One vmdk is servername.vmdk, and then the second vmdk is servername_working.vmdk. Both vmdk's have the same size.

Why it is showing two VMDK’s file? Even though it is using the storage for one vmdk.

thanks.

Hello, this is not the actual vmdk file, kindly please search this forum for _working.vmdk for more information about this file.
