Hello everyone. I'm here because my company just move from Backup Exec to Veeam B&R 9.5 for backup all the infrastructure. But my colleagues said that they were using the functionnaly of restoring only NTFS permissions in Backup Exec which is pretty efficent when you destroy the NTFS permissions integrety. Our Veeam supplier confirmed that the functionnality is not integrated yet.
I would like to know if this functionnality will be intergrated in the next versions of Veeam B&R ?

Theoretically you should be able to do this with icacls. Mount the restored volume with Veeam File Explorer then use icacls to save the permissions from the mounted backup. You'll probably need to modify the paths but it shouldn't be too hard.
