RMAN Plugin and Compression

We are testing out the RMAN plugin with Veeam and we are trying to fine tune the process. In the past without Veeam, we had RMAN compression turned off. Now with the Veeam plugin and the Veeam compression on, the RMAN backups are taking a lot longer to run. How can we disable compression? According to this doc https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4 these are the steps (also looks like a typo with /VeeamPluginforSAPHANA)

- If you want to disable Veeam compression and deduplication, do the following:

- Open the /opt/veeam/VeeamPluginforSAPHANA/veeam_config.xml file with a text editor.
- Find the compression="Lz4" parameter and change it to compression="NoCompression".

However, in the veeam_config.xml, there is no parameter for compression="Lz4". Which part of the veeam_config.xml should the compression="NoCompression" parameter be added?

If it does not give you better speed, please open a support case and post the case number for reference

Thanks for the info! We added that parameter, and it didn't seem to make a difference. It was 13 minutes 29 seconds with Veeam compared to 5 minutes 19 seconds with just native RMAN. I'll open a support case and see what they can find!
