scale-out repository - illegal characters in path

Post by oliverL »

Case # 01977380

Hey there,

a customer of us has 5 Repositorys on a Repository Server. Each Volume is one Repository and we moved backupsets from another repo to those Repositorys.

After we ensured that the Backups where running (after moving the old backupsets to the new Repository) we wanted to add those Repos as extents into a new Scale-Out Repository but it won't work. 1 out of 5 Repositorys could be added and for the other 4 we get the error illegal character after Veeam tries to save the scale-out repository.

Since google and the search doesn't bring up this error i wanted to ask if someone else had this Problem?

The Repositorys are pretty much the same in size and some are even empty and the error which we got isn't helping since nowhere are special letters included.

best regards
Oliver

Hi Oliver, chances are some illegal character is in the repository name as it is stored in the database. I believe support will be able to identify it, so please continue working with your engineer.
