Schedule or not Schedule?

Post by silverfoxs »

hi, Guys:
I am still quite new for VEEAM BACKUP. Just wonder whether anyone have noticed(or I miss something from manual) that If you don't schedule job and if you create job and run it, the job will encounter error once you log off?
I created 3 jobs and job failed everytime if I log off.
I create a schedule job and it runs fine.
I reckon everything should run by service account not the account we log in.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks.

Hello, yes this is known issue - there are a few topics talking about this already. If you run the job manually and log off then it will error out. We will be addressing this issue in the next release.
