sdlete and defrag on StarWind High Availability image files
Does anyone have any experience using sdelete and defrag on on virtual disks using a StarWind SAN with image file devices using high availability. The virtual infastructure we are using is VMware ESXi 4.1 with guests running Windows 2003 or 2008. My question is will both the primary and partner image files be optimized if I run sdelete and defrag?

Hi David, what do you mean by partner image? If you are talking about SAN replication between 2 SAN devices, then yes - DR SAN will always contain bit-identical copy of Production SAN volumes.

Yes, there are two SANs that are setup to replicate in a high availability mode. Thank you for the quick response.
