We have volumes on the Veeam servers, that host both Standard and SOBR repository extents.
The SOBR free space estimation seems to work well when it is the only repository on the volume, but doesn't seem to account for jobs running in other repositories on the same volume.
Is there any way of setting a buffer/reservation, to stop it filling up the whole volume?

Re: Shared SOBR volumes - free space
I believe the only small chance you have of controlling this is to look and see what you can do with the data locality settings. It's unlikely though.
The problem you're going to have with a SOBR in this configuration is that the point of a SOBR is to amalgamate more than one volume... so once that has happened how is the SOBR going to know what space is available in which repositories and then be set to only use a proportion of what's available?
Can you split the volume so the SOBR part is separated away from the rest?

Re: Shared SOBR volumes - free space
SOBR space estimation doesn't take into account other parallel jobs, right. You can control free space reservation using the registry value mentioned in this post.
