Should Veeam BR check archive logs before Image Backup

Hi,

I've a customer who is using Veeam to backup his ORACLE 11 DB on SLES. He was now in a Situation that he found out that a in time/in Transaction restore was not possible due to corrupted/missing achive redo logs in backup. The Veeam script doesn't check the "consistency" of the redo logs before the Image (snapshot) backup is runing. The Veeam backup (including periodical) log backup were ok. But the restore failed due to the missing logs in the redo log chain.

It should be easy to get a additonal redo log validation into the Veeam script during backup. The customer opened a case #02074977 but as I know it has been closed.
