Good day
Did extend 2 Volumes on the File Server VM. After the first Veeam Job is now running. I get the following message from the affected volumes:
12.09.2016 12:11:57 :: Festplatte 3 (800,0 GB) 500,7 GB read at 89 MB/s [CBT]
12.09.2016 12:11:58 :: Disk [vmfs_server01_AO] server01/server01_8.vmdk size changed, entire virtual disk must be read
I understand this message and it makes sense because of the change. But apart from that, it seems that veeam is reading also all the other, not changed volumes completely. Here is an example:
12.09.2016 12:04:12 :: Festplatte 2 (500,0 GB) 409,8 GB read at 90 MB/s [CBT]
-> This volume was not changend and it has arround 400GB of Data in it. Veeam should only read about 20GB changed data, not 400Gb... It also does not display the "size changed" message (which is correct because the volume was not changed) for this volume but it reads the whole data on the volume
Is this by design that veeam reads all the volumes complete as soon as one single volume was changed (extended)
Thanks
