I have some general easy questions:
1) veeam essentials include veeam backup and veeam one, right?
2) with veeam can i make hot backups? (backups while VM continue to work and users can connect and work with them?
3) can i save backup data on external QNAP?

Re: Some general question before buying
Hi Simone,
1. Yes it does.
2. Yes, Veeam B&R can do this.
3. Yes, you can. Just add your QNAP device as a backup repository and target your backup jobs to this device.
Thanks!

3. With regards to RAID level, it’s always advisable to have RAID 10 for backup repository, since both 5 and 6 has a certain IOP penalty, which might result in decreased backup performance, especially, if reversed incremental is being used.
Thanks.
Thanks.
