Scenario:
SQL Server Virtual hard Disks (4)
Backed up : 1
Backup Type : Full with only one disk selected.
SQL DB on same hard disk which is backed up
DB deleted from SQL Server.
Want to restore the DB.
Open Backup --> right click and -->restore application items --> MS SQL Server DB
Choose restore point --> Finish wizard.
Veeam Explorer for MS SQL Server opened.
right click on DB, select restore...
Error --> Database 'db_name' restore failed. Emoty mount root path for colume label G
(Session ID: many numbers here...

Yes, I'm trying to restore this DB in original location where it was previously. I tried restoring in another folder on same volume, but didn't help.foggy wrote:Farhan, are you trying to perform restore to original location?

Hi Farhan,
Does your DB reside on the same drive with the system?
I believe that you should have included your system volume in your backup in order to be able to restore some particular DB.
