Hi, Im a SQL DBA new to Veeam. Our sysadmins have set up server replication with a nightly server level backup and sql translogs backups via Veeam. They are under the impression that they can restore to the server level backup and then apply the SQL translogs which from my back ground working with SQL Native backups does not sound possible, I would of though you also needed a Veeam full sql backup daily also?
Apologies if this is not the correct place for this question.
Thanks in advance.

Re: SQL Translogs and Veeam Replication
Hi Paul,
The daily full is not mandatory but daily image-level backup of SQL server with T-log processing enabled would be fine. Please refer to this section on our help center to get more information about configuration and let us know if you have some questions.
Thanks!
