Hi all,
This is maybe more an SQL question but directly related with veeam.
Here is my situation, we have a VM hosting our SAP test server running on SQL 2005.
I'm using veeam to backup this server with reversed incremental method, veeam is doing application aware backup and truncate the log on successful backup. All my backup are successful however my log file is 52Go big.
I'm not an SQL neither a Veeam expert but I thought that the log will be much smaller. That said the log is not growing that much, so I'm not sure whether the log truncating is working or not.
How can I be sure that the logs are correctly truncated ?
Thanks!
Lucas

Re: SQL truncate log
Lucas, what recovery mode does your database use: simple or full?
