I'm gathering the support logs to submit a case now, but just wondering if there are any known gotchya's in regard to powering up VM's in the lab?
I'm getting either:
"The object or item referred to cannot be found" or
"Could not find a part of the path 'D:\ProgramData\Veeam\NFS\ADL-SQL01_b1ef7f7aabe340f7800df76f4b289cfc\ADL-SQL01.vmx'"
in the session log when attempting to start a 2008 SQL Server VM, whereas other VM's I've tested so far seem to work OK. For example, the DC starts up fine in the same job just prior to this VM.
I'm wondering if there can be possible issues with items such as the following:
- the VM had a CD drive mounted at time of backup?
- VM disks were excluded using Veeam disk exclusion in the backup job?
- the VM has multiple network cards (unmapped)?
- the VM has multiple disks that were stored on volumes of different block sizes?
Thanks in advance.
