SureBackup: NIC does not come online

Hi,

We've set up surebackup for a non-domain server. While testing it, we found that the NIC was not pingable until we logged in on the console and selected the network (Public, Home, Work). Has anyone run into this, and know any workarounds?

A few things points of interest:
1. Windows 2008 R2 SP1
2. Workgroup computer
3. Mac address on the NIC is different than the original mac address

Let me know if you have any other thoughts.
