Synthetic full backup: Failed to obtain full point in group

Hello.

When the synthetic full backup appears this error:
There are no VMs to backup. Failed to obtain full point in group. GroupId: [463856f1-c879-4497-9460-a1639eea9882]
I suspect that the error occurred because I manually deleted some old backup files.

What are the solutions to this problem?

Most likely that is the reason. You can try to run a full backup to start the backup chain anew to fix that.
