Hi, I am in the middle of a migration from VMWare to Hyper-V and have created a new Veeam installation. During testing I have created a test job, performed an initial active full and a few incremental backups. I have edited the job, ticked synthetic full for today (Friday) and manually started the job but for the life of me I cannot get it to perform a synthetic full! Have I missed something daft here?!
Many thanks, James

Re: Synthetic full not running on selected day
Looks unexpected, can you post screenshots of full backup/backup job schedules? Thanks.

Well did you run the synthetic full on the same day as you created the initial active full and the incrementals?

Hi, yes I tried this on the same day. Will it not do a synthetic full if it has already done an active in the same day?

Re: Synthetic full not running on selected day
That's correct, only one full backup will be created on any given day.
You can review existing discussion as it contains useful information about scheduling full backups. Thanks!
