We are an MSP and have recently gotten questions from our customers asking if we do scheduled test restores. They seem to be mostly interesting in file-level restore tests and not necessarily full VM recovery. We've been discussing this internally trying to come up with a solution/schedule/requirements and would like to see how others are doing these for their customers. having to do a test restore of all backed up systems is not possible. We have 100's of them just in 1 of our Veeam implementations.
Can some of you share your thoughts or how you are doing this for your customers? Not too specific, but in general. not looking to copy, just looking for ideas.
TIA,
Bill

Re: Test restores for audits
Hi Bill, you could probably script periodic FLR's for this or that VM or consider using SureBackup for this purpose.
