Training classes
Hi, I was just looking for opinions on Veeam training classes. Particularly VODL vs online instructor led. I am already pretty familiar with the product as I have been using it for almost 3 years now, but I was looking to get certified. The VMCE cert does required a training class to be taken, right? Thanks.

Re: Training classes
I've just asked our VMCE representative to chime in. Thanks.

Re: Training classes
Depending on where you are located there are three options:
1. Classroom instructor-led training
2. Live Online instructor-led training
3. Video on-demand learning (only available currently in North America)
All three options will include real live hands-on labs. Which option is best depends on which learning style works best for you. Personally I am a big fan of classroom training because it helps me focus. One disadvantage of VODL is you can't stop the "instructor" and ask questions, however you have the advantage of being able to go back and revisit the videos as much as you want in a 30 day period.
I hope this was helpful and please do let me know if you have any additional questions.
After the training please make sure to schedule some time to study the text book and perhaps use some community based practice exams (there is a good list here: https://www.perfectcloud.org/practice-exams/)

Re: Training classes
Great, thanks for the info. So the VMCE class is required for all certs, right? Basically I don't really feel like I will get as much out of this class since I've been using the product for a few years. I feel like the VMCE Advanced would be a better fit for me at this point. However, if VMCE is required then I guess I'll have to take it initially. Thanks for your time.

Re: Training classes
Correct, for all certifications VMCE standard class attendance is mandatory.
