Hello all,
I'm new to Veeam and backup software in general. I have been demoing Veeam B&R as a possible replacement for our backup software, but I'm running into an issue setting up a NFS share as a backup repository.
Veeam will only allow me to add the share if the permissions are set to open. I obviously don't want the share to open to anyone so I assume there is a setting I'm missing to add a user credentials to allow Veeam to access the share when not set to open. I have been looking through the docs and watching videos, but I don't see a way to fix this.
Any help will be appreciated.

Re: TrueNAS NFS share not available
Hello,
I have added multiple NFS shares from my TrueNAS to Veeam. It is very easy, and yes you need the gateway to hace read/write access to the share, but nothing else if you want it to be protected to other users.

Can you maybe share an screenshot of your current config of truenas?
Thanks a lot!
