Hi all,
Can someone please explain the following?
Server has 14 dailies backed up locally
There is a cloud copy backup with 2 restore points set
In the cloud, I see seven .vib files, the largest being 10GB, no vbk files. Locally, there are 3 vbk files each around 120GB.
- How would a restore from cloud be done? We would need the vbk or full backup? Cloud only stores incrementals?
- If the restore points for cloud is 2, why are there 7 files?
Thank you very much in advance!

Re: Understanding cloud storage/DR restore scenario
I can see another server in the cloud that has 3 files, .vbm (0) .vbk (47GB) & .vib (5GB) with appx. 6am timestamp from this morning. This server has 2 restore points set in Veeam app.
Trying to understand why this "appears" to be correct (full .vbk file in cloud although only 1 .vib - full as restore 1 and .vib as restore 2?) and the one above with only incrementals (.vib's) ?
