V12: Excluding one day for Backup Job run is ignored

I think we found another V12 issue: when we exclude a specific day from backup schedule the jobs that never ran with V11 on that day do in fact start in V12.

This is a huge issue since together with the BCJ slowness issue we manually have to disable non critical backups to get at least some copies finished....

Is this a known issue?

Just found out from support that this is a "feature" of V12
But there is a logic behind what we do: Backup + Synthetic sometimes take longer than 23:59. Since we want the tape backup to take the existing VBK (fast) and not synthesize a tape point (slow) the backup must finish until 23:59, else the GFS backup job fails because the latest time the GFS scans for a finished backup is 23:59 (at least with V11).

Since on saturday the backup may run much earlier as on the rest of the week we run it via script (which also causes a vbk to be created).

Solution provided by support: Exclude the hours the backup starts from allowed scheduled run time. Should not affect scripted start. We will see...
