V6 - Proxy failover ?

Post by stevenrodenburg1 »

Bonjour,

It's moi again. The FAQ states that proxies are automatically assigned according to specific parameters.

Queztione: If a proxy stops responding while running a job and does not report to the Backup-master for X period, does the job get restarted or resumed by another proxy ?

In this case this VM backup will fail and the VM will be processed during the job retry cycle using another available proxy. Thanks.

Yes, you can configure the number of retry attempts as well as the frequency of the retries while editing the job settings.
