V7 SureReplica - isolated network 'unknown' not mapped

Post by Cragdoo »

Support Case: 00698575

I'm in the process of trying to setup a SureReplica job, and keep running into a weird issue.

I have setup the virtual lab, replicated the VMs, create the Application Group from the replicated VMs.

However when I run the SureBackup/Replica job, and the job attempts to reconfigure the networking I get the following warning
Warning Reconfiguring
Network 1: production 'VLAN987_DR-DEMO', isolated 'unknown', not mapped
Summary: One or more networks cannot be mapped, check virtual lab settings

but in this case the VLAN987 network is actually specified as the isolated network in the job/virtual lab.

Can anyone shed any light ?

ok, penny just dropped.

When setting up the virtual lab, the term 'Production' isn't really my production network details, just what I deem to be 'Production' in my DR site ..... think I get it now

NO talking rubbish ..... 'Production' is the Production network at my DR site, I need to specify another network/port group at my DR site as my Isolated network

problem is my initial replication is already doing a network remap , I just didn't take that into consideration
