VBR Community - server is listed twice in Instances

Post by johannesr »

Greetings,

I am backing up 3 VMs (on one physical, standalone ESX box, licensed), and 6 Client computers within one protection group. I had some issues lately and had to mess around with the VMs, and now I cannot backuo two client machines, because the license count is exhausted.
I checked the license and instances tab, and saw, that I now have two machines listed twice. I assume this is because I restored a machine to another location with another name, but here it is listed with the same name.

My question now is - can I safely try to revoke one of these two entries? If i pick the still-in-production VM that needs to be backed up, what happens then? Can I undo that? Or is there another way of tidying things up here?

Thanks
Johannes

Yes, you can safely revoke. Nothing will happen. Thanks!
