Just wondering what the copy job target has to be?
Does it have to go to disk or is there the option of doing the copy to tape/usb etc?
The assumption being that the backup copy is more likely to be an offsite and/or offline copy.
Oh and one other question, how do you get the Veeam configuration job to copy/backup to tape?
Currently we normally have the Veeam config going to the same disk repository as the main Veeam backups and then third party it all out to tape.

Re: Veeam 7 copy job target question
Hi Scott,
Veeam backup copy job has to be pointed to the backup repository, it can be whatever you want, except for tapes. If you want to offload backup config to tape as well, then Veeam backup will have an ability to offload entire repositories or any file to tapes, pretty much the same technique as you're currently using with 3rd party tools.
Thanks!
